Dual-Chamber Rosin Vape: Hardware Specs
The Frostco Dual Chamber is the first live rosin vape on Washington shelves with two fully isolated 0.5g chambers and a selectable dual-fire mode. This is the hardware spec sheet — every material, tolerance, and design choice, published in-house so you never have to leave our site to know what you're inhaling from.
Format at a glance
Two isolated chambers · 0.5g of Frostco live rosin each · 1.0g total fill.
Three fire modes: Chamber A solo, Chamber B solo, or Dual (both chambers fire simultaneously for a mega-hit cloud).
Rechargeable integrated battery — no 510 thread, no third-party mod required. USB-C charging.
Chamber & mouthpiece materials
Chamber body: medical-grade borosilicate glass. Chosen over plastic and polycarbonate so nothing in the vapor path can off-gas, leach, or absorb terpenes over shelf life.
Mouthpiece: food-grade zirconia ceramic. Inert, non-porous, and thermally stable — it will not carry flavor from one chamber to the next.
Seals: FDA food-grade silicone O-rings, rated for cannabis oil contact. No plasticizers, no BPA, no phthalates.
Heating element
Coil: porous ceramic heating element with an embedded kanthal alloy trace. No cotton wick, no fiberglass, no metal mesh in the vapor path.
Ceramic was chosen because live rosin is viscous and terpene-rich — it needs an even, low-temperature heat surface. Wick-and-coil designs scorch the terpenes off before the cannabinoids vaporize.
Each chamber runs its own dedicated coil. Firing Chamber A does not pre-heat, cross-contaminate, or degrade the rosin sitting in Chamber B.
Power & temperature
Operating voltage: fixed at 3.2V per chamber in solo mode. Dual-fire mode drives both coils in parallel at the same 3.2V — the cloud gets bigger because you are vaporizing from two surfaces at once, not because you are running hotter.
Effective vapor temperature at the coil face: approximately 315–340°F (157–171°C). This is intentionally set at the low end of the live-rosin window to preserve monoterpenes like myrcene, limonene, and terpinolene that flash off above 350°F.
Battery: 380 mAh lithium-ion, sufficient to finish both 0.5g chambers with typical use before requiring a recharge.
Airflow & draw
Draw-activated firing on all three modes — no button to hold down mid-pull.
Independent airflow paths for each chamber. In Dual mode the paths merge at the mouthpiece, so the two vapor streams combine without either coil starving the other of air.
Airflow is tuned to reward short, gentle pulls. Long rippers overheat any rosin coil; a 2–3 second draw at low voltage is what makes the terpenes read.
What's in the chambers
100% Frostco cold-cured live rosin. No distillate cut. No MCT, PG, or VG. No botanical or cannabis-derived terpenes added back. Nothing but the rosin.
Every batch is I-502 tested and DOH certified. The COA on the retail box matches the rosin in both chambers — same strain, same wash, same cure.
How to get the most out of it
Finish one chamber before starting the next. The sealed chamber holds flavor for the shelf life of the product; opening it to airflow starts a slow oxidation clock.
Warm the device in your hand for 30 seconds before the first pull of a session. Rosin is thick when cold.
Use Dual mode sparingly and intentionally — it is a party trick and a real one, but it also burns through both chambers twice as fast.
Takeaway
Two chambers, two coils, one clean ingredient list. Every material choice in this device exists to keep the rosin in the chamber tasting like the rosin we pressed.
